Bakossi Community in the United Kingdom, UK, has donated a three phase 30 kilowatt diesel generator to Bangem District Hospital, Kupe Muanenguba Division. The generator was officially handed to the hospital on June 30, 2025, by a representative of the donors, Enongene Sone Stanley. The Mayor of Bangem Council, Ekungwe Kang Christopher, has honoured his late mother, Mama Munge Cecilia Ekungwe, by bringing joy to patients at the Bangem District Hospital. The one year memorial service of Mama Ekungwe took place on June 22, 2025 in Nyan village, Bangem Sub Division, same day she was buried one year ago.
