The Divisional Delegate of Housing and Urban Development, MINHDU, Kupe Muanenguba, Takang Orock Ewube, has implored the Mayor of Bangem, Nguti and Tombel Councils to install eco bins and dumping sites in their respective municipalities. In a communiqué signed by the delegate on February 14, 2024, Ewube stated that these facilities are prerequisites in preparation for the Clean Cities Contest 2024 in the South West Region and in view of maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation within the division. Government Teachers Training College, GTTC Bangem has released 71 grade one teachers into the job market. The graduation and prize award ceremony of the 25th and 26th batches took place on March 15, 2024 at the school campus in Bangem.
