Kindly introduce yourself
My name is Mbole Ewanoge epse Etake Ngaaje. I hail from Muambong Clan, specifically from the royal family of Muandon village.
I am popularly called Queen Mother, Mother Hen or Mami Pastor. The traditional names are also many. I am a civil servant by the grace of God. I am married and a mother of four kids.
What are some of the activities you have carried out that has impacted the lives of women over the years?
I am the initiator of the association ‘Queens Mother Dynamic Daughters and Sisters of Impact’. In this association, I offer counseling services for women, especially on marital issues, moral values. We are also involved in community development by transforming the lives of vulnerable persons. We also pray and carry out outreach programs.

We go to orphanages and help orphans spiritually, materially and financially. I have been serving as a deaconess in the Apostolic Church of Cameroon and my husband has been recently called to the office of a pastor in the ministry. As a pastor’s wife, it is so challenging. This is because I have so many children depending on me. Every day before I come to work, I meet people in a cue infront of my office waiting for me for counseling. I thank God for the gift and patience to carry to this service effectively. I do my best to ensure that my home and work is not affected. This is because I organize my activities so well to ensure that I don’t destroy my home or my job while doing ministry work.
As a multitalented woman blessed with many skills, I educate, empower and make young girls to know their self worth and learn to love and value themselves. I caution them that to be a liability to anyone is not an option in my territory.
I am very open to everyone. I remember my first adopted daughter who today is married with kids. She hails from the North West Region and was handed to me in church when her aunt was about taking her to Gabon for prostitution. She ran and came to church and I embraced her.
I don’t segregate amongst children and I don’t also pretend. As much as am loving and caring, I don’t like hypocrisy. That’s why I don’t have friends. Everyone around me is family and I try to love all equally. My kids even tell me that it’s like I love my adopted children more than me.
What advise do you have for women as they celebrate Women’s Day?
As society celebrates the sacrifices and impact of women worldwide on this special day, I advise women to be relevant and industrious. They must be loving, compassionate, soft spoken, prayerful, peaceful, and build their homes with the fear of God.
We are impacting the younger generation with knowledge and skills. We are like the role models to the younger generation. I call on my fellow women worldwide to celebrate this day that will bring a turning point in our lives to flee from atrocities that will destroy their homes. On Women’s Day, women should get up early and pray, prepare food for their husbands and keep the house in order before stepping out for other activities. Women should be responsible as they celebrate this day.
