Amidst the glaring effects of climate variability, food insecurity and threatened livelihoods of rural people especially smallholder farmers, ISUDEV and her partner, Luena Foundation, has intervened in the community of Ndibse, Bangem Sub Division, with a climate-smart farming initiative. Muangwekan Football and Cultural Inter-quarters Competitions have rallied the population of the village and nearby communities that took part in the competition for peace, love and unity. The two months competition was played by Muangwekan I, Muangwekan II, Nyan, Muakwe, Muanyet, and Muanjikon villages of the Elung Clan, Bangem Sub Division, Kupe Muanenguba Division. The population of Bangem Sub Division has appreciated Buea University Medical Students’ Association, BMSA for saving their lives in a week-long health campaign to villages in the sub division.
