The Mayor of Bangem Council, Ekungwe Kang Christopher has refused responsibility for the cancellation of the Bangem lap of the just ended International Banana-Plantain Festival. Bangem was initially programmed for the closing ceremony of the festival on the 2nd of December 2023, after Limbe on November 30th and Buea on the 1st of December.
