Councilors of Bangem Council have adopted the sum of FCFA 1.1 billion (one billion one hundred million) for the 2024 financial year, representing a 23% (percent) increase compared to that of 2023 which was FCFA 890.200000 (eight hundred and ninety million, two hundred thousand). The Mayor of Bangem Council, Ekungwe Kang Christopher, has officially handed keys to the newly constructed and equipped Nkikoh Health Center to the community. A twenty-three year old pregnant lady has been raped in Bangem Sub Division, Kupe Muanenguba Division, South West Region. The incident took place recently at Hausa Quarters, Bangem. According to a neighbor to the victim pleading anonymity, the four months pregnant lady was sleeping in her room while other family members were out.
