HRM Chief Mesumbe Ngabe Simon, Chief of Ekaku village, Bangem, has been laid to rest at his newly built Ekaku palace. He died while planning to move into the newly constructed palace. Councilors of Bangem Council have adopted the sum of FCFA one billion, one hundred and forty million (1.140.000.000) for 2025 fiscal year, signifying a 4 % (four percent) increase compared to 2024. Tombel Council, Kupe Muanenguba Division, has voted the sum of FCFA one billion, two hundred and fifty million for the 2025 financial year. Tayong Andrew Mbakwa, Director of Boka Engineering  Company, the Control Mission for the Bangem Water Supply Rehabilitation and Extension Project has assessed the progress of the ongoing field work. An unprecedented crowd of internal and external elite of Kupe Muanenguba and beyond, friends and well-wishers have bid farewell to their patriarch, Sango Andreas Ewang Mukete alias Soh Ewankume. Late Sango Ewang who was born in 1919, died in November 2024 at a full age of 105 years.
