The Verklin foundation has organized its first edition of She Leads Summit 2025, a groundbreaking event designed to inspire and empower young girls to become leaders in their communities.

The summit which took place on November 1st, 2025 at Fini Hotel Limbe, held under the theme “From Dreams to Leadership”, brought together young leaders, industry experts and mentors to share knowledge, experiences and insights on leadership and personal development.
Addressing over 50 participants at the summit, the vision bearer Epolewane Verklin, said through the workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities, attendees gained valuable skills and confidence to pursue their passions and make a positive impact in the world.

She said the foundation’s efforts to promote leadership development among young girls are truly commendable, and the She Leads Summit 2025 is a testament to their dedication to creating a brighter future for all.

Epolewane who is also Divisional Officer of Nlonako Sub Division, Moungo Division, urged young girls to dream big despite challenges, turning the dreams into actions.
She joins her voice with the other speakers to encourage women and girls, especially single mothers to empower themselves and rise above the stigma society has imposed on them.
In her motivational session, the main speaker of the summit, Dr Agbor Meg, Founder and CEO of CHAMEG Cameroon encouraged participants to harness the knowledge shared by various experts as a catalyst for growth and development.

She urged the young leaders to tap into their potential, unlock their skills, and become efficient leaders in their respective fields. By doing so, Dr. Meg emphasized that they would be well-equipped to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

Other speakers at the summit include; Brenda Elung, CEO of Omega 1 Entertainment Company Limited, Abba Abdouramn, CEO, Result Institute, Marja Motanga, Senior Manager, Finance Operations at MTN Cameroon, Ayuk Takem Rita, CEO Local Action for Equality and Peace Building, LAFEP, Barrister Nouvelliza, President, Fako Lawyers Association, FAKLA, Lydia Nanyongo, Regional Councilor, South West Region, and Glory Ngwana, Founder, Anna Nabuh Foundation.

Reactions
Speaking to The Ultimate, one of the participants, Azah Kennessa, a 19-year-old university student said she is inspired by the teaching of building value and capacity as a woman to make a difference.
Wasse Albright said she has learnt to be audacious as a woman, gather courage to go for the things she wants, and place herself in places, because gender cannot be a limitation to her dreams.
Kang Bless Mua, Programmes Director, Verklin Foundation urges all men to empower their wives with knowledge because women’s contribution to the society is tremendous. He encouraged all women to take the mantle to dream big for themselves and the community at large.
Akeh Beldine-Noel Ngoh thanked Verklin Foundation for the mind-blowing summit. She said as an aspiring Food Processing Engineer, knowledge from the summit has inspired her to overcome procrastination and dream, and to dive into immediate action on food processing. “My dream is to set up an industry to process plantain into plantain flour in order to build the health of the population of Cameroon.” She disclosed.

The summit ended with a donation of school fees to three best mathematics pupils from Catholic Primary School Bota, Middle Farms Limbe by Verklin Foundation.
