The President of the Nhia Clan Campaign Team for the Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement, CPDM, Ewane Clifford Ngabe has rallied the population of Nhia Clan, Bangem Sub Division, Kupe Muanenguba Division, for victory for President Paul Biya.
CPDM militants and sympathizers from Muabi, Poala, Muasum, Muelong, Mbat, Ekambeng and the Muanenguba Community turned out massively at Government School Muabi for a support rally in favour of H.E Paul Biya, on October 5, 2025.
The event also served as the official launch of the CPDM proximity campaigns for all the six villages of the clan, and the Muanenguba Community of the Twin Lakes.
Addressing the Nhia population, Ngabe enumerated their blessings under President Paul Biya. He said all the villages of the clan have pipe borne water, electricity, primary schools, and a secondary school in Muabi village.
He enjoined the population to base their usual and unwavering support to the CPDM candidate on these achievements and on his 11-point manifesto, which meets the expectations of the clan, and those of the nation as a whole.
Ngabe who is also Sub Section President for Nhia III, Ekambeng said their vision aligns with that of President Biya which includes preservation of peace and unity, experience and wisdom, humanity, sacrifice for the nation, amongst others.
He encouraged the people that considering the achievements in their clan, they should all rally behind President Biya and cast their close to 700 votes for him.
The Nhia Campaign head who also doubles as Regional Treasurer at the South West Regional Assembly was confident that on October 12, the entire population of Nhia will cast their votes for President Paul Biya at the Presidential Election.
Also speaking at the rally, the Divisional ‘Charge de Mission’ for the CPDM Central Committee Permanent Delegation to Kupe Muanenguba, Njabe Cletus Etube confirmed that the overwhelming presence of the population at the rally is indicative of their total support for President Biya.
He said from the kind reaction from their people, no single vote will fall out because they have all rallied for 100 percent success for H.E Paul Biya.
Njabe who is also ‘Charge de Mission’ for the Nhia Campaign team assured that none of their votes will fall on barren land as they shall all vote for President Biya on October 12.
Also, Kang Primus Metuge Etube, alias Espoir Kango affirmed that the launching ceremony clearly signify that Nhia Clan is 100 percent for President Paul Biya.
He said they have strategized to continue with proximity campaign in Muasum, Mbat and Ekambeng villages on Thursday October 9, Muanenguba, Poala, Muelong, and Muabi villages on Friday October 10.
“On Saturday October 11, we shall be camping at various chiefdoms to prepare our people for 100 percent vote for President Biya, our best choice, on October 12.” He added.
Other members of the campaign team include Ekane Ivo Ekoti, Professor Nkumbe Macaulay, and Ekuh Edmond Mbong.
The support rally and proximity campaign launch that was attended by chiefs and notables of the clan, also witnessed the dissemination of the clan campaign strategy, and announcement of the villages’ proximity campaign teams.
The pace and strategy for the various clan campaign activities was set by the Head of the communal Campaign team leader for Bangem, Senator Ntube Agnes.
The event also witnessed donation of school needs, sanitary pads, CPDM fabric, and gadgets to the population.
Choral singing by CPDM choir, animation and dancing spiced the event.
