Militants of the Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement, CPDM Kupe Muanenguba I Section, Bangem, have celebrated the party’s ruby jubilee, pledging a 100 percent victory for President Paul Biya.
Kupe Muanenguba SDO, Middle, with Section Executive and MilitantsThe CPDM militants were speaking at Paul Biya’s Stadium Bangem, March 25, 2025 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary celebration under the theme, “Let us all stand, behind President Paul Biya, to take up the challenge of a clear, transparent and unambiguous victory for the CPDM candidate in the presidential elections”.

Addressing the mammoth crowd at the event, the representative of the Head of the Divisional Permanent Delegation of the Central Committee to Kupe Muanenguba, Mbong Michael Mbine disclosed that, militants should uphold their support for the CPDM candidate, President Paul Biya in the upcoming Presidential Elections.

He said Kupe Muanenguba I Section has permanently supported President Biya in his great vision for the party and the institutions he incarnates reason why they are giving him 100 percent vote.
Mbong, who is also the Deputy General Manager of MAETUR encouraged sympathizers to register massively with Elections Cameroon, ELECAM and perform their civic responsibility on election day.

Also, the Section President of CPDM Kupe Muanenguba I, Mesumbe Ambrose emphasized on the importance of unity and mobilization behind President Paul Biya.
He highlighted the achievements of the New Deal government to Kupe Muanenguba which include; the ongoing construction of the Bangem-Nguti road, electrification of most villages in Bangem Sub Division, the Bangem water rehabilitation project amongst others.

On his part, the Mayor of Bangem Council, Ekungwe Kang Christopher thanked President Paul Biya for fulfilling his promise on the construction of the Bangem-Nguti road.

He assured that Bangem will secure a 100 percent victory for their CPDM candidate in the Presidential election because Biya has done a lot for Bangem municipality in terms of health, education and the socioeconomic domain.
Presentations
In her paper presentation, the Second Deputy Mayor of Bangem Council, Nkwelle Evelyn Mesode talked on “Youths and Women Participation in Politics.”

She disclosed that women and youths have rights to vote and be voted, encouraging women and youths to get up from slumber and join the political trend.
In addition, the Sub Section President Nhia III (Ekanbeng), Ewane Clifford Ngabe presented on “Political Education and Political Participation.”
He said political education and political participation are tools that boosts the relationship between the government and the citizens.
The president called on youths to dare and take part in the upcoming presidential elections and also take positions in the administration.
While presenting a motion of support from CPDM Kupe Muanenguba I Section, Ekahnjume Peter Sume summarized the great achievements of President Paul Biya from the time he took over power till date. He mentioned various achievements in the domains of economy, agriculture, education, health, sports. “With all these achievements, Paul Biya warrants to be crowned a great leader.” He added.
It should be noted that prior to the anniversary ceremony at the stadium, militants and sympathizers marched in a grand rally round Bangem, echoing the party’s principles.
Also present at the rugby jubilee celebration in Bangem was the Senior Divisional Officer of Kupe Muanenguba, Mungambo Ekema William, the Divisional Officer of Bangem Sub Division, Dairou Saly, the WCPDM Section President, Ajang Christina, the YCPDM Section President, HRM Chief Nkwelle Peter Atabe, section and sub section executive members, amongst others.
