The Senior Divisional Officer of Kupe Muanenguba, Mungambo Ekema William, has convened a preparatory meeting ahead of the upcoming Bakossi Festival of Arts and Culture, BAFAC.
The meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, the 26th of February 2025 in the Conference Hall of the Bangem Council at 12:30 pm.
Mungambo in his communique invites all internal and external elite of Kupe Muanenguba, the Mayors of Bangem, Nguti and Tombel Councils, Members of Parliament from Kupe-Muanenguba, Members of Regional Council from Kupe-Muanenguba, Members of House of Chiefs from Kupe-Muanenguba, amongst others.
The festival which has been scheduled from April 7 to 21, 2025 at Government School Field Tombel, is organized under the distinguished patronage of H.E. Elung Paul, Minister, Deputy Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic.
The 14 days cultural jamboree will feature traditional dances, traditional wrestling, artifacts and handicraft display, traditional dishes exhibition, beauty contest, live music show every evening, story telling, seminar on good Agric practices for bountiful harvest, the role of micro finance in fostering development in rural communities and many more attractions.
Bakossi Festival of Arts and Culture BAFAC is organized by Scandic Vipes Entertainment.
