Also, the President General of Ebamut Cultural and Development Association, EBACUDA, Joseph Ebong Epie disclosed that he is so elated with the choice of their new chief.

“Ebamut village has been stagnated for long because we had no chief. It is a new dawn of blessings and development for our village”. He disclosed.
The PG. who is also Vice Principal of GTHS Bangem, advised the new chief to be a man of the people, be collaborative, soft and understanding, have a good listening ear and a vision for his people.
Ebong advised the population of Ebamut that a leader is made known by his people. He told them to respect their new chief and elite of Ebamut and be collaborative in all village activities.
An elite of Ebamut, Ebong Mesode Epie pleaded with her kith and kin to rally behind their new chief and make Ebamut great again.
However, those opposing the choice of Esong as the chief designate lamented that chieftaincy stool in Ebamut is from the royal family and Esong is not from the royal family. They argued that Chieftaincy in their village is not rotatory.
