The South West Regional Coordinator of the Cameroon National Salvation Front, FSNC, Nnange Calvis Nkumbe, has dismissed claims by some politicians that the massive mobilization of the party in Kupe Muanenguba Division is a political threat.
Nkumbe was speaking to The Ultimate at the end of activities marking the 52nd National Day celebration at Paul Biya’s Stadium in Bangem.
He said there’s an increase of FSNC militants in the region, marked by the massive participation on the 20th of May in Bangem, Tombel, Buea, Limbe, Idenau, Tiko, Kumba I, Kumba III, Mamfe and Akwaya.
According to the coordinator, they were motivated to fulfill their republican commitment to the Head of State by participating in the unity march past as a republican party.
“We are not here for any threat. There’s no reason to fear. We are a republican party with members in parliament, councils and supporters to the head of State. So there’s no need to panic”. He added.
He testified that the massive turn out of the population to celebrate the National Day in Bangem, is an indication of the return to peace, unity and love in Bangem after the socio-political crisis.
The South West Coordinator appealed to the population of the region to register in the electoral register and participate in upcoming elections.
