He said for both years, the school scored 100% for the teachers’ grade one certificate examination, with Tarsiwan Marina and Ngwa Mercy emerging best students for both batches.
While congratulating the students for the excellent results, the principal lauded his predecessor, Mbukelome Mesumbe Ambrose for his input towards the growth of the institution over the years.
He also thanked the staff who worked relentlessly, irrespective of their limited number.
To the graduates, Apash cautioned them to draw inspiration from the quote of George Burns, “You have to look at the future because that is where you will spend the rest of your life.”
He told them to be prayerful, put their trust in God, shun arrogance, insolence, dishonesty, disrespect, backbiting, laziness, quarrelling and absenteeism, as they face the world.
Apash’s address was followed by a discourse titled, “Teachers: Vector at the helm of Professionalization, Digitalization, Promotion of inclusive civic and moral values for peaceful emerging Cameroon,” by Dr. Epie Ngolle nee Mbulle Ann Marie.
She said the theme ties with the current dispositions of Cameroon’s education system in its drive towards digitalization. She encouraged teachers to be professionally conscious of this drive, to promote inclusive civic and moral cultural values amongst Cameroonian patriots.
