The celebration of God’s will in the life of Blasius Ngome from February 16 to 18, 2024 in Mbat, Bangem Sub Division, Kupe Muanenguba Division ended with testimonies from guests and well wishers.
We capture the reactions of some personalities about the event. Read On……
Proof of Peace in Kupe Muanenguba
Seriously Ngome Blasius through this event just displayed that he loves home more than any other place. He owns many hotels and would have decided to celebrate in town. Rather he comes home to celebrate with his people in Mbat village. We are happy that Kupe Muanenguba has such dynamic elites. There are many of them. For him to come home to thank God for his life, family and ancestors is great.
Ngome’s example is telling that people should celebrate themselves and loved ones while they are alive to express their love and care and not when they are dead.
I must also say for those who are still contemplating if we have peace in Kupe Muanenguba should come and see the turn out here. People move in and out, day and night without being disturbed and anybody that tries to disturb will be taken care of by the ancestors.

Blasius Ngome is Exceptional
I want to thank all the authorities of the land, and the people too for the hospitality so far. Most especially, Ngome Blasius for bringing me here to celebrate with him the goodness of the Lord in his life. I have known him for three years now. When he came to me I thought he was the father of a student, but I was surprised when he said he wanted to do a Ph.D. with me.
Since then we have been friends. If you have three students like him, you can’t sleep because he will sent at least ten questions or references a day which is exceptional. And seriously I appreciate and admire his moves. I want to thank him for making it possible for me to be here. Coming here was a tough one but I can see the full return of peace in Bangem Sub Division and Kupe Muanenguba in general.

Celebrating Unconditional Love
Celebrating life while alive is the best thing to do just like Blasius Ngome. From the readings of Luke 17:11-19, Colossians 3;12 -17 and Zaphaniah 3:14-15, we should learn to be thankful to God, help the needy, be hospitable, quick to forgive and amongst all love one another more when we are still alive not when dead has owned us.
There are numerous reasons why Ngome should be thankful to God, which has led to the celebration. Ngome is celebrating the life of his parents, brothers and sisters, his wife and children, friends, and partners. He is celebrating all those who have participated in training and moulding him to what he is today, he also celebrate all his collaborators and bosses at his work. In a nutshell today’s celebration is that of unconditional love.

Setting of a Concept and Philosophy (Mbat Concept)
I must commend that for Ngome Blasius to come home to celebrate God’s will in his life is the setting of a concept and philosophy. There are many places where he could go to celebrate this but he chooses home. Because of this Mbat is seeing new faces today. Some of them have never heard of Mbat but they are here. In my own name, the name of Mbat village and her people, we say thank you to Ngome and to all of you who have come to grace this occasion. I say you are welcome.
Feel free to enjoy the fresh water and cold weather and above all our scenery, the Muanenguba Twin Lakes which is just one and half kilometers away. Like I said earlier what we are celebrating is a concept and philosophy and I know one day it will be given a name and I hope it be called the Mbat concept. Thank you.
