Some police officers and inspectors of Kupe Muanenguba Division promoted by the Head of State, President Paul Biya, on the 31st of December 2023, have received epaulettes.
The ceremony took place on the 27th of January 2023 in Bangem.
The promoted Police Officers and inspectors in Bangem include; Takou Job, Kouadje Jean Paul, Ngoe Patrick Edie, Ojong Peter Tambe, Djakbe Pascal. Officers in Bangem for reinforcement include; Kamsi Takou Nicarnor, Kengni Ngenyi, Dikanda Emmanuel, Mbourou Ngondjo Joël, Yabes Diallo Abichai and Yerima Nimalla.
Those in Tombel include; Milat Dieudonné, Enane Maya Laurent, Djoda Haman, Paho Cesarien, Njoh Ernest, Melle Ivo Enongene and Milang Christophe.
The lone Police Officer promoted in Nguti is Ismaila Moussa.
Speaking during the cocktail ceremony, the Divisional Officer for Bangem Sub Division, Felix Kanga, congratulated the officers for their promotion. He said this mark of confidence by the Head of State that has led to their change of grade, is prove of hard work.
He enjoined them to continue serving the nation by maintaining peace and order, assuring that more promotions will come their way.
The Mayor of Bangem Council, Ekungwe Christopher Kang, while pouring Champaign on the promoted officers, thanked them for their good works in maintaining peace in Kupe Muanenguba.
He also encouraged police officers who were not promoted not to give up because their turn is coming.
The Commissioner of Police, Kupe Muanenguba, Elvis Musenja Nyama also congratulated his collaborators for their efforts and sacrifices in the midst of security challenges in the South West Region.
One of the promoted officers of Bangem, Police Inspector Djakbe Pascal thanked the Head of State for his promotion. “I am very happy today. I promise to serve better in maintaining peace and stability in Kupe Muanenguba Division.” He disclosed.
