Walters Ndzerem Yuyun has been installed as the South West Regional chief of the National Civil Status Registration office known in it’s french acronym as Bunec.
He was installed on April 11,2023 at the Buea council by the Deputy General Manager of the National Civil Status Registration office, Mr Addoulaye Adjali Boukar in the presence of the Head of Divisions of Economics and Social Cultural Affairs at the South West Governor’s office who represented the Governor, the DO, Mayor of Buea and traditional authorities.
Mr Ndzerem Walters Yuyun who before his appointment resolution of December 22,2022 was the Head of General Affairs at Bunec, SW,took over from Mr Sinkem Ashu John Paul who has been called to other duties.
The new SW Bunec Regional chief who hails from kumbo, North West region is a graduate from the University of Buea.
While installing Mr Ndzerem Walters Yuyun,the Deputy General Manager of Bunec, Mr Abdoulaye Adjali Boukar called on him to continue with the training of Civil Status stakeholders in the region, fight against the rate of fraudulent documents as well as follow up activities of Civil Status in all the Sub Divisions of South West not limitation with Buea.
He went further that the new SW Bunec Regional chief should provide good civil status services to the population as the celebration of Mass Marriages is now a nearly event nationwide.
The installation ceremony ended with appreciations from the Administration of the SW region and colleagues of the new Bunec chief
