The Mayor of Bangem Council, Ekungwe Christopher Kang, Head of the Elung Clan Campaign Team for the Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement, CPDM, has told the population of Elung, Bangem Sub Division, Kupe Muanenguba Division that President Biya is the best choice.

Ekungwe was speaking on October 5, 2025, at Government School Muangwekan during the official launch of the CPDM proximity campaigns for all the seven villages of the Elung clan.
He told his kinsmen to decide for a better Cameroon by casting their votes for President Biya on October 12, 2025, at the Presidential Elections.
The Elung Campaign Head disclosed that after the rally, they will continue door to door campaign in all the seven villages of the clan viz; Nkikoh, Nyan, Ekangte, Muanjikom, Myanyet, Muangwekan, and Ekanjoh-Elung to mobilize the people to vote wisely on Elections Day.

Also, the Head of the Bangem Communal Campaign Team, Senator Ntube Agnes epse Ndjock expressed joy at the level of heated campaigns ongoing in the various clans.

She said as the eight clans of Bangem Sub Division mobilizes for 100 percent vote for the CPDM party, President Biya should be sure of a sweeping 100 percent victory in Bangem.

The ‘Charge de Mission’ for the Elung Clan Campaign team, Epumangando Synthia Epede Bih, encouraged that in Elung Clan there’s peace, unity, development, living together, freedom of speech, the mayor’s achievements, amongst others.

She said they can only continue to achieve these things if they choose President Biya to pilot the affairs of the nation by voting him 100 percent at the Presidential Election.
The deputy General Manager of MAETUR, elite of Elung, Mbong Micheal Mbine revealed that based on experience, peace and unity of Cameroon demonstrated by President Biya, it is time to give 100 percent victory to their CPDM candidate.

“I am so satisfied because the future of Cameroon is bright with President Paul Biya at the helm. Let us vote wisely.” He added.
Other speakers at the ceremony include HRM Chief Nnane Nnoko Emmanuel, Paramount Ruler of Bangem, HRM Chief Atabe Ndonjume Emmanuel, the host sub section president of the CPDM, Ekanjume Peter, the Section President of CPDM Kupe Muanenguba I Section, Bangem, Mesumbe Mbokelume Ambrose. Traditional rulers and notables of the various villages were also present at the ceremony.

In the course of the ceremony, school needs, CPDM fabric, and gadgets were distributed to the population.
The event ended with animation by traditional dances of the Elung clan.
