The Senior Divisional Officer of Kupe Muanenguba, Nguia Beina Theophile has held his first strategic meeting with divisional delegates and heads of services of the division.

The strategic and sensitization meeting took place on August 14, 2025 at the conference hall of the Senior Divisional Office in Bangem.
In his address, the SDO disclosed that as civil servants, everyone must be diligent and assiduous in the discharge of their duties.

While reminding the delegates and heads of services on their obligatory role in serving the state, Nguia instituted a compulsory weekly meeting with all his collaborators.
He emphasized that the meeting would take place on Mondays at 10:00am, and all delegates and heads of services should come along with a weekly report of activities in their various sectors.

The SDO equally stressed on the need for all delegates and heads of services to be present at work every day from Monday to Friday and to ensure the effective presence of their staff at work.
He also instructed all delegates and heads of services to carry out sensitization meetings within the division to engage the population on their various services for effective results to be obtained.

After interaction and exchanges with collaborators, the SDO told the Divisional Delegate of Tourism and Leisure, Louis Yong Tambia to follow up activities at the Muanenguba Twin Lakes and ensure that all money collected by contractors and other partners is paid to the state treasury.
To the Chief of Center Taxation, Kupe Muanenguba, Mua Emmanuel Kum, the SDO told him to ensure that the franking machine for stamps works effectively in Bangem.
To the Finance Controller, Kupe Muanenguba, Mukete John Nangeli, the SDO told him to decentralize his services in the treatment of documents and apply best method and model to manage and treat documents online.
To the Divisional Delegate of Public Works, Kupe Muanenguba, Shu Renny, the administrative boss told him to institute a rain gate at the Bangem stretch of road from Melong, to deter heavy trucks from destroying the road in the rainy season.
SDO Nguia Beina also instructed the delegates of Basic Education, Ngwesse Joseph, and Secondary Education, Peter Mejame Njikang to ensure that all schools in the division respect the reopening date of the 2025/2026 academic year, and for the effective presence of all teaching and administrative staff in schools.
Meanwhile, the SDO told the Delegate of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, George Eno-Tabi Lobe Makia, to locate a site in Bangem for the easy extraction of sand to curb the current exorbitant price of sand coming from Moungo Division to Bangem.
Also, Nguia assigned the Delegate of State Property and Land Tenure, K/M, Fobia Atem Agbor to reflect on the opening of a fuel filling station in Bangem. He said this will facilitate the development of the administrative head quarter and the division in general.
The meeting ended with interaction between the SDO and collaborators on a lighter mood. The next meeting was announced for Monday August 18, 2025.
