The Nninong Cultural and Development Association, NICDA, Nninong community, and friends of Nninong, have celebrated and honored Government Secondary School, GSS Muebah-Nninong with scholarships, for scoring 100 percent at the General Certificate of Education, GCE Ordinary Levels, 2025.

This took place during an ecumenical service to thank God and invoke his grace on GSS Muebah, on August 9, 2025 at the Presbyterian Church, PC Muebah-Nninong.

In his homily, the Presbyterial Secretary for Meme North, Rev Mesape Wilson, congratulated the principal and staff for making Nninong proud in their excellent performance at the GCE.

Reading from 2 Chronicle 7:14-15, he talked to the sons and daughters of Nninong on ‘the blessing and the curse.’
Rev Mesape said like the children of Israel who turned to God after building the beautiful temple, all what requires from them is to turn from their wicked ways and seek the face of God.

. “You don’t turn to God only when you have challenges. Even in your victories, don’t turn your back and play games with God.” The Presbyterial Secretary cautioned.

He lauded the Nninong community for the thanksgiving service organized to appreciate God for the successes recorded in their land.

Other spiritual angles handled at the ecumenical service include; the invitation of God’s presence, confession of sins, healing of the land of Muebah, and Nninong in general.

The prayer session was conducted by Rev Che Festus, Parish Pastor, PC Muebah Nninong, Rev Fang Terence of PC Muaku, and the Presbyterial Secretary of Bakossi North Presbytery, Rev Dr. Namaya Elangwe.

Thanksgiving
In the thanksgiving session, the President General of NICDA, Nhon Prince Mballe Makoge appreciated the Nninong community for their massive presence at the ecumenical service. He equally appreciated staff and students of GSS Muebah for making them proud.

Dr Epriam Abwe Diabe, Cameroon’s Community Volunteer in Chief and family thanked God for the opportunity to be at Muebah to celebrate with his kith and kin. He said his own way of rendering service onto God as a minister of God is through thanksgiving. “Even the air that we breath and everything we have is a reason to thank God. That is why as a family, we have come to thank him.” Dr Abwe added.

The second thanksgiving was offered by Muebah Cultural and Development Association, MUECUDA, headed by the president, Ajang Hilary. Like his predecessor, he said they are thanking God for the excellent results of GSS Muebah, and for the revival of the land of Muebah.
