The Cameroon Country Director of Agroproduce Management Services Ltd, AMS, Etake Divine Ngaaje, has donated five hundred thousand (500.000) FCFA to Mbororo widows of Muanenguba, Bangem Sub Division, through the Director of Women’s Empowerment and the Family Center, Bangem, Mwene Agnes Senge.

The cash gift is to support the Director’s initiative to Mbororo widows, where she donated rice, tablets of soap, maggi cube, sugar, loin cloth, and other items on June 23, 2025 to commemorate the International Widows’ Day under the theme, “Amplifying Widows’ Voices for Peace and Development: A Responsibility for Families and Communities.”

Addressing the widows at her second trip to Muanenguba for the cash donation, the Director thanked Ekake for reaching out to Mbororo widows through her.

She cautioned the Twin Lakes widows to use the money and improve their livelihoods by starting an income generating activity to sustain their families.
While congratulating them for their plaiting and decoration skills, Senge called on the widows to enroll at her center in Bangem to perfect their skills, and impact communities.

Also, the 2nd Deputy Mayor of Bangem Council Nkwelle Evelyn Mesode appreciated the donor and the Director for donating to the widows of Muanenguba.

She prayed for God’s blessings upon them, and divine provision so that they continue to impact the lives of widows and the less privileged in society.

Mesode advised that being a widow is not the end of life and encouraged them to struggle and do something that will generate income.

In her words of appreciation, Habiba Anti Hammadou, the widow’s leader of Muanenguba thanked the donor for the gifts. She said the money received will help her to buy books and pens to her children next academic year. She thanked Senge and entourage for putting smiles on their faces.

Meanwhile Hawe-Dane Jallo, a member of widow of Muanenguba equally appreciated the director and sponsor. “This cash will help us in many ways. I am so happy.” She added.

Also, the Chief of Muanenguba, Harouna Oumarou appreciated the MINPROFF Director, Bangem for visiting them twice with gifts within ten days.

However, he lamented that their village is seriously handicapped with the lack communication network, medical facility, electricity or solar panel, and the bad nature of roads.

He pleaded with the government and other elite of goodwill to help them out of the dilemma which is a serious threat to development.

On behalf of Muanenguba youths, Hourera Oumarou expressed gratitude at the philanthropic gesture to their community by the benefactors.

She assured the Director that they will enroll and the Women’s Empowerment Center, Bangem to acquire skills and make Muanenguba a better place through hard work and resilience.
Also Present at the event was the Sub Delegate of Youth Affairs, Bangem, Ebong Fritz, and the Chief of Social Center, Bangem, Ngwesse Patience.
