Samelle Calister Mejane epse Ngeme, a teacher working at the Divisional Delegation of Basic Education, Kupe Muanenguba, has used her personal story to inspire women to triumph.
She told The Ultimate that crafting visions and dreams catalyzes her to a fulfilled future.

Mejane said as a peasant child from a peasant home, her vision was to be a teacher in the future.
“Though I was hindered financially, I didn’t turn my eyes from my vision. I walked to fulfill my visin through hardwork, resilence, good morals, the love of God and humanity.” She disclosed.
The teacher recounted vividly how as a nursery school teacher, she carried all her six children on her back while teaching, coping with domestic chores, and farming.
According to her, the fighting spirit enabled her to become an accomplished and celebrated woman.
Mejane said as a young mother and wife, she was president to many women groups where she initiated several activities to impact the lives of women, families and communities.
“I also empowered younger boys and girls, especially the less privileged. I am known as mother of many because I have groomed many who are not my biological children.” She added.
Mejane advised women to be role models in the society and never to allow someone’s else opinion become their reality.
She told women to avoid stress, be focused, exercise regularly, be determined, hopeful, courageous, resilient, believe in themselves, have enough rest, feed well, and stand tall always.

“Women should avoid pulling down each other, work in collaboration, impact lives and serve God diligently.” The teacher added.
Mejane hails from Mbat village and married in Muetan-Aku all in Kupe Muanenguba Division.
