What is unique about Kack village?
Kack village comes from the Muasundem Clan and Kack is a junction town that links Moungo Division and Kupe Muanenguba Division.
Kack is centralized because from Kack, you can go to Bangem, the divisional head quarter of Kupe Muanenguba, and Tombel, the sub divisional head quarter. We also have the Ngujede Foundation Public Library in Kack. The library serves as a pillar of research and the advancement of education in the village.
What are some of the touristic sites in Kack village?
When you come to Kack, you will enjoy a favorable climate. You will also enjoy peace and hospitality as Kack is referred to as the town of refuge. Kack has a centralized market that attracts business men from Kumba, Tombel, Nkongsamba, Bangem and surrounding villages every Friday, due to the mass production of food and cash crop in Kack. Kack is usually referred to as the bread basket of the South West Region.
Kack in itself has some social life that attracts strangers from all over, like the famous ‘White House’ at the Market and other good dancing spots and bars where people can go at night for relaxation and refreshment. We also have good palm wine which attracts a lot of people too.
How did the socio-political crisis in the South West and North West Regions affect Kack?
The crisis affected Kack because no one can say he was left out of it but then, it turn out to be an advantage as Kack became a town of refuge. We have continue to host many Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs from the South West and North West Regions of Cameroon.
The peaceful nature of Kack attracted a lot of people from all over the nation. Kack is a very peaceful and hospitable place. A good Example is the Kom community in Kack, the Ngie community, the Bamileke and not to talk of the Bakossi people too. We have more people coming in daily as they discover the hospitable nature of Kack.
You are the new Secretary General of the Kupe Muanenguba Chiefs Conference, KMCC. What is your vision for KMCC?
You are very correct. As Secretary General, my vision is to be serviceable and to work in close collaboration with the entire exco to ensure that our objectives are carefully implemented. While congratulating the outgoing executive for effectively piloting the affairs of the division, we shall take off from where they ended. I am very optimistic that as we work as a team, we are sure of greater achievements within our mandate.
Any last word?
Kack is a land of promise. Kack is a peaceful land. We have the Dallas Complex which was constructed by our son, the Former Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, Professor Elvis Ngolle Ngolle. Elites too are trying to put up modern structures to make the town beautiful. I wish to use this opportunity to call on the people of Kack to continue to be dynamic and hospitable.
