Militants of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM party in Kupe Muanenguba I (Bangem), have developed a roadmap and campaign guidelines for a 100% (percent) success of the party at upcoming elections.
This was the outcome of the party’s 39th anniversary celebration on Sunday March 24, 2024 at Paul Biya’s Stadium, Bangem, under the theme, “All together let us mobilize with determination and without ambiguity behind the national president, H.E. Paul Biya.”
In a presentation by the President of the youth wing of the party (YCPDM Kupe Muanenguba I), Nkwelle Peter Atabe, he disclosed that for the party to achieve a 100 percent success at forthcoming elections, they must strategize.
He proposed the creation of awareness on upcoming elections, start early mobilization, encourage massive voters registration, determination of target voters, devise a consensual strategy to select candidates, involve more women, contenders who lose during the selection must continue supporting the party, raising of early funds, identify key influencers, come up with relatable and attractive local manifesto, vary campaign methods, just to name a few.
Major Achievements
Meanwhile Section President, Mesumbe Mbukelome Ambrose highlighted major achievements of the CPDM party in Kupe Muanenguba 1 under President Paul Biya.
He mentioned the ongoing rehabilitation of the Bangem-Melong road, electrification of Nhia, Muetan and Elung villages, the opening of new streets in Bangem town, the construction and renovation of schools, health centers, colleges, the rapid increase in prices of cash crops, Bangem-Nguti road rehabilitation in the pipeline, amongst others.
The Section President also appreciated the Deputy Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, Minister Elung Paul Che for the unity and peace visit within the three sub divisions of Kupe Muanenguba.
Development Projects
However, Mesumbe pleaded for the Construction of a town hall in Bangem, the construction of an office for the Divisional Officer, DO for Bangem, the construction of the Court of First Instance Bangem and the High Court of Kupe Muanenguba.
He also mentioned abandoned projects like the DO’s residence, the Delegation of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Bangem prison. He promised a 100 percent victory for the CPDM in Kupe Muanenguba I.

The representative of the Divisional Permanent Delegation of the Central Committee, Kupe Muanenguba, Mbong Michael appreciated the militants for their sacrifices to the success of the party in Bangem. He promised that their preoccupations will be met as they keep up with good works.
Mbong who is the Charge de Mission of the CPDM Central Committee to Kupe Muanenguba also called on the youth CPDM President to mobilized the youths and make sure they are fully involved in matters for they are the future of the party.
