What motivated you into music?
I was a choir master in my church. I sang so well and this motivated me into music. All of my songs are mostly gospel songs with love as the central theme.
How has the music industry been so far?
It has been a good one though challenging but God has been Faithful. Alsom with the help of my good friends, I am moving forward.
For how long have you been into music?
I have been into the music industry for two years, I started singing in funeral, churches and other occasions when I got the skills. I then moved into the music industry and after a short period, I released my first song tilted MESU MESU.
Do you develop songs in certain situations or you just create them out of experience?
I just look into certain situations and develop a song, I must not write my song out of experience. I can just sit and look into certain challenges and play a bit on it.
What are some of your tracks?
Well I sing about love and other ideas. I sang a song tilted LOVE and it meant love your brother as you love yourself.
What motivated you to sing this song tilted Love?
If you look into our community, there is a lot of hatred. People pretend to love you but deep in their minds they hate you. That is what made me to sing a song tilted LOVE, so that the community can change.
You have another song tilted NTEDEO, what is it all about?
It means we should follow the ways of God not man, let’s trust in God and nothing will be impossible.
What is the song MESU MESU all about?
It was my first song and it means I am going back to my father. If you happen to die, you will go back to your father and in his house, there are many rooms. If you were a good person, they will give you one room but if you were not, there will be no space for you.
What are some of the challenges you face in the music industry?
Leaving Tombel to Kumba where I produced my music was a serious challenge. I spend a lot to transport my team from Tombel to Kumba.
What are some best moments you enjoy when singing your music?
When I sing and people stand up to dance with me, it gives me joy. I don’t like singing and people just sit down looking at me. I like when people dance with me while Iam on stage.
What makes your music get to the heart?
God has been very faithful to me since I started my music. Though I had a punch when my wife died. She was everything to me. Because of her death, made me sing a song tilted EKE BUAM meaning go well my lovely wife. My wife left me unprepared, we slept in the night only to get up in the morning and discover that my wife is no more. I was badly shocked and I could do nothing during that period. So I can conclude by saying that my wife is the one who gave me this passion for music, and I greatly appreciate her for that wherever she is now.
Away from music, can you tell us about yourself?
I am called Golden Elondo and I’m a musician from Tombel equally an artist.
