The Senior Divisional Officer, SDO for Kupe Muanenguba, Mungambo Ekema William, has launched a weekly health walk for administrative officials in Bangem.
The first edition of the event took place on the 31st of January 2023, at the esplanade of the SDO’s office.
The Sub Delegate for Sports and Physical Education, Bangem Sub Division, Ernest Epie Ngolle led the administrators in warm-up exercises, stretch up and soupleness.
This was followed by a walk round the town of Bangem, to the SDO’s office, with a quiet end after the second round of stretch up and soupleness. The SDO provided water to all participants, promising that snacks will be available in the future.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mungambo told his collaborators that the objective of the weekly walk jamboree is to enable them exercise for healthy living.
He said administrators must live healthy in order to work effectively in Bangem and enjoy life at its fullness.
The SDO added that the weekly walk is a sign of unity, love, peace and living together.
The Divisional Delegate for Sports and Physical Education, Kupe Muanenguba, Nzoukwelle Lovert congratulated the SDO for launching the weekly health walk. He enjoined his colleagues to be steadfast in the path they have chosen.
Nzoukwele appealed to all delegates and Head of Services to encourage their staff to join the health walk.
He announced that in the nearest future, they will climb to Muanenguba hills to the twin lakes and back.
