Twitter Removes Blue Verified Badges of Stanley Enow, Jovi, Samuel Eto’o and Francis N’Gannou, Demands $15 Per Month
Twitter users with the verified blue checkmarks are currently losing their verification badges following modifications made by Elon Musk, the social media company’s owner. Individual users of twitter must buy a $15 monthly subscription to keep their blue verification checkmarks on the platform.
Cameroonian celebrities and prominent figures such as Stanley Enow, Jovi, Francis Ngannou, Samuel Eto’o and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou were not spared. They have all been stripped off their verified badges and until a payment of $15 ( 9.500 CFA) monthly subscription fee is made, these celebrities and their twitter accounts will not be getting their legacy verified badges.
Outside Cameroon, the likes of Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy and even Beyonce have not paid their $15 subscription fees yet to obtain their badges.
