The online news platform “Fako Promote” has gone fully operational after its official launch on Saturday 22nd April at its headquarters at Buea road Mutengene.
This launch follows in line with the “One Man, One Lamp” project, “Light Up Fako” that is aimed at ensuring electricity supply in all environs and streets of Fako.
The “Fako Promote” online news platform, brainwork of Hon. Fritz Ngeka Etoke, is a medium created to spread truthful facts as can be ascertained.
It has as aim to promote local and national news with a focus lens on “Fako”.
According to Hon. Fritz, “ Fako promote is not a one man show but a platform for all of us” as all Cameroonians are called upon to access all kinds of news information via the info-rich platform.
The Fako Promote team ensured their presence in the “Light up Fako” project coordinated by Dr Smith Molua Becke, the vision bearer and the Becke’s Family at large.
The project was laudably applauded by the Representative of the Prime Minister and the Lord Mayor of the Buea Municipal Council as well as other dignitaries present during the ceremony.
In the words of Dr Smith Becke, “Let there be Light” was an instruction biblically backed and He, as an illustrious Son of the soil had taken the bold step to ensure Fako has stable electrical supply, and why not the entire nation of Cameroon in the long run.
The Main brain of Fako Promote, Hon. Etoke has supported the project hugely with 20 poles equivalent to 1 Million CFA Francs.
